Chalet Location

The chalet is located in the centre of the village of Peisey Nancroix, at the entrance to the National Vanoise Park, 10 minutes to the train station of Landry, 20 mins from Aime and 20 mins to Bourg St Maurice.

Flying

The closest airport is Chambery, then Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon.  We include a transfer from Geneva airport BUT you must arrive at similar times or be prepared to wait until other students have arrived for the transfer to be included.  There needs to be a minimum of 4 people otherwise an additional charge will be made, however there are lots of other companies going back and forth to the airport so somethng can be arranged.

To get from the airport, there are buses, trains and transfers.  There is also a bus service which goes to Aime or private shared transfers. 

We can pick you up from Aime, Landry or Bourg St Maurice.

There is also the shared ride service  Blabla Car, which is the cheapest which you pay for in advance – cost is approx 15 euros per seat from the airport (Lyon) to Landry (nearest village to us on the valley floor).

Train

The closest train station is LANDRY which is 10 minutes drive from the chalet. 

Train from Lyon is straight forward– Look on www.thetrainline.com for the times and prices.  There is also Eurostar which comes all the way to Bourg St Maurice via one change in Paris.

Buses

There are buses from Geneva, Lyon and Chambery during the summer months as well as private transfers which you can often get a seat on – once you have your flight details there are Facebook sites you can post or look on.   Flights to the Alps are generally very reasonable during the summer months – especially if you book in advance.  If you prefer the Bus from UK – Oui Bus is very cheap and brings you to Lyon from where you can get the train, bus or a Blabla lift.
