Course Prices

From 620 euros Per Person.  If you are a couple, we can offer a discount of 10% providing the booking is one invoice for both of you.  A deposit of 180 euros is due on booking then the balance is due 8 weeks prior to course date. The price includes a transfer from Lyon airport providing it fits in with the organised one.  If you want to make your own way, there are regular trains to Landry from where I can pick you up.

On certain dates, we can offer a two week course which is suitable for the candidates with no cooking experience at all and need to learn basics as well as work thorugh a menu.  The cost is 1080 euros per person

Popular this year - Online Courses 250 euros

If you have experience cooking (even at home) but would like to focus on the chalet hosting to get an understanding of the job, we also offer Online courses which follow the same programme except for the practical side (although homework assignments are given!).  This is provided over 20 hours via Skype at a cost of 250 euros.  To ascertain your suitability for an online course, a preliminary Skype chat is necessary.  You will receive a reference on completion of the course, as well as help with your CV, cover letter and job applications.  Our Skype students have had great success in getting jobs so it is a good alternative if you are unable to come to France.  Online courses can be arranged on most weeks so ignore the availability!

New 2021 - Courses running in April so you can ski in the afternoons!  Waiting for News that the Lifts will open!

So, you truly understand what working in a chalet is all about, we have decided to run courses in April so after a hard morning's work prepping a meal you will get to go out skiing.

Unlike during the summer, when limited facilities are open, in January the resort will be in full swing (Covid pending!).  We can get discount on lift passes for 6 days or you can just buy an afternoon pass when you want to go out on the slopes.  After an afternoon ski, you come back and finish cooking the evening meal (aswell as covering the other subjects) and then serve your evening meal. 

You may just fancy coming on a ski holiday where you get to learn some useful skills!
